All tea originates from a similar plant. "All teas that are classed as a tea need to originate from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant," Kate Woollard, tea master at Whittard, reveals to BuzzFeed Life. "A considerable measure of organizations have gotten into the propensity for giving something the title "tea" since it's something that you put in your container and it's hot.
"In particular, tea originates from the leaves of the Camellia plant. Everything else, a herb (like mint), natural product (like raspberry) et cetera, is an imbuement."
The sorts of tea are white tea, green tea, yellow tea, oolong tea, dark tea, and pu-erh tea. "When you have the title 'white tea' or 'green tea', you're really portraying the procedure by which it has been made," Woollard says.
