Ncell is an exclusive portable system administrator in Nepal. Ncell was the primary privately owned business to work open GSM benefits in Nepal, at first under Mero Mobile brand, re-marked to Ncell on 12 March 2010.[3] It broke the imposing business model held by the then state-possessed, now open media transmission organization Nepal Telecom. On 12 April 2016, Ncell has formally turned into a piece of Axiata Group Berhad, a Malaysian broadcast communications assemble with its rebranding on 16 August 2016.
The organization is claimed in 80% by Axiata Group Berhad. Ncell is the biggest ISP in Nepal with a supporter base of more than 3 million clients. Ncell has 14 million versatile supporters as of August 2016.[8]
Partnership[edit]
Ncell turned into a piece of Axiata Group Berhad on 11 April 2016, when the Group purchased 100% shares of Reynhold Holdings, which holds 80% shares of Ncell. On 21 December 2015 TeliaSonera accounced arrangements to pitch its 60.4% possession in Ncell to a Malaysian media transmission aggregate Axiata, with the arrangement anticipated that would be finished in the principal half of 2016.
