RAJBIRAJ: United Democratic Madhesi Front asserted that four people were killed in the police terminating in Saptari on Monday. Police organization, then again, put the loss at one as it were.

The UDMF's Saptari pioneers said Ranjan Mehta, Digambar Yadav, Pitambar Mandal and Ananda Morcha lost their life in police activity when the UDMF units conflicted with security work force outside the scene of CPN-UML's mass gathering at Maleth VDC outside Rajbiraj.

In the wake of deadly episode in Saptari, a crisis meeting of the CPN-UML chose to put off the gathering's continuous Mechi-Mahakali crusade for three days.
